This site is being rebuilt, as I have time between wandering in the woods, and applying clothespins to people. Hopefully I will get it finished this summer...

I hope you enjoy the limited version, please ignore broken links (they are there to test your awareness, I already know about them!), and Clip Responsibly!

Interview with Tom Brown, Jr.

"In the basic class, after a week I can teach you to survive with nothing. I will teach you to be more aware than you have ever been in your life and to be able to track a mouse across a gravel driveway."

Reporter: If you sent somebody in the woods with only one thing, what would you give them, string, matches?

Tom Brown, Jr.: I wouldn’t give them anything. There are 23 different ways to make a fire without matches. You could find everything out there -bones, stone. It gives them freedom and proficiency.

18:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?  And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,   And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.  Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

So you've been clipped,

now what?

Let me begin by explaining how you came to be clipped. Someone thought you might like this game and placed a clothespin or some object with our address on your clothes or in your immediate vicinity. You apparently were curious enough to visit our site to see what it's all about.

On our "How To Play"  page we ask the question, "What is awareness?" As you explore this question with us you may be surprised at how much you miss in your day-to-day activities.

Our goal is to enhance everyone's awareness thru the games presented here. I know from first hand experience they work. If you practice, you'll see a marked increase in your awareness after only a few days.

A great many people are lost in a world of separation. They live in a bubble of daydreams and self-indulgent conversations. They see, hear, taste and feel very little. If you don't believe this, go to the local park, nature reserve or mall and spend one hour watching the eyes of people. They are almost always fixed straight ahead as they guide their owners on a power walk to where they're going.

These eyes, like the nose, mouth and ears, generally ignore everything in between the starting point and finish line. If asked, most people couldn't tell you anything about the persons, plants, animals or terrain they've past.

A great deal of this stems from living in a society so loud and audacious that we must turn down the volume on all the senses just to remain sane.

Ninety percent of the time humans are in pairs or larger groups and talking to one another. We are social creatures and there is nothing wrong with being social. When we are alone however, we often find ourselves still needing to be social, so we create a secondary voice to converse with. Hence, we find ourselves routinely lost in thought or inner conversation about something totally unrelated with where we are. I have clipped people with upwards of twenty others milling about and not a single person saw it. Why? Because their minds were turned inwards.

Today, do yourself a favor, go out and turn your mind inside out. Look around at everything as though you've never seen it before, because, truth is, you haven't. Every minute of your life is a new minute. There is a Zen saying which states, "You can't step into the same river twice." All that stands between you and utter amazement is what you believe you remember and know.

We, at AwarenessGames.com, feel that if we can help one person keep from being victimized or help them see one one flower they may have otherwise missed, then this site has served it's purpose.

We hope you enjoy the information presented and will help us spread the power of the clip by passing it on.
